Statistics, analytics, and likes are not reflective of your worth. Just because they stay in the low range does not mean your work is abysmal. It just means you have yet to find the people who’ll love what you do—and you will. (If you’ve plateaued, know that you’re not stagnant, there are still plenty of places to go.)
You have to lead with curiosity. Ask yourself what you think will happen when you focus on consistency. If you show up for yourself in spite of what your numbers say.
Ask yourself what would happen should you give up now; would you be happy with that choice in a couple days or months or years? Don’t let your stats speak for you—listen to your heart.
It’s easy to sit on your dreams, to say you’ll do it eventually; it’s even harder to continuously put one foot in front of the other. The choice that fills your heart with dread is the one to choose.
Fear is a heavy emotion to carry. Borrow the power it wields to propel yourself forward. Turn it from something scary to something you can use to your advantage—the courage to keep going.
Numbers may give validation, sure, but they can’t weigh more than your self-belief. At the end of the day, how you think of yourself and your work matters more than charts and estimations. When they speak, listen to yourself instead.
